The AI career platform

Pass the résumé screen. Land the interview.

ResumeBuddy reads your résumé the way an ATS does, shows you exactly what's missing, and rewrites it against any job — without inventing a thing.

01It reads it first

First, it reads every line — the way an ATS does.

I read your résumé the way the software does. Here's what it can actually see.

02Beat the blank bullets

Then it fixes the lines that say nothing.

Before

Responsible for social media.

After

Every number here came from your answers. Buddy never invents one.

03Match any job

It reads the job post and marks every requirement against you — proven, close, or missing.

The job post

We're looking for a marketer who can own lifecycle email in HubSpot, build reporting the team trusts, and is comfortable writing SQL to answer their own questions.

Then it shows you what a recruiter sees in seven seconds.

A real optimisation, in the honest range these numbers move — every figure here came from the writer's own answers. Your jump depends on your evidence, never on invented metrics.

    The one rule

    It never invents your experience.

Most AI resume tools will happily invent a metric, a tool you've never touched, or a responsibility you never had — because it makes the output look better. That's the thing that ends interviews early.

    FAQs

Everything you need to know about ResumeBuddy.

Can't find what you're looking for? Email us and we'll help.

Is this just going to make things up about me?

No, and that's the whole design. It can only reword, reorder and re-emphasise what's already in your resume. It cannot add an employer, a date, a degree, a tool or a number that you didn't write. Anything the role asks for that you can't evidence is listed for you to deal with, not quietly invented.

What is an ATS, and why does it matter?

An applicant tracking system is the software most employers use to receive and sort applications. It reads your resume automatically and scores it against the job ad before a person ever opens it. If it can't parse your formatting, or it doesn't find the terms the role screens on, your application can be filtered out no matter how good you are.

Why is my match score lower than I expected?

Because it's scored on evidence, not on writing. If the posting asks for a tool you've never used, no amount of rewriting fixes that, and pretending otherwise just moves the rejection to the interview. A low score with a specific gap list is more useful than a high one that gets you screened out.

Do I need to tailor a resume for every single job?

For roles you actually want, yes. Screening happens against one specific posting, so one generic resume sent to forty jobs is optimised for none of them. This exists to make per-application tailoring take thirty seconds instead of forty minutes.

What file formats can I download?

Word .docx, print-ready PDF, and plain text. All three keep the same single-column, parseable structure, so what you see is what gets uploaded.

What happens to my resume — do you keep it?

Your resume and the job ad are sent to the language model that does the rewriting, and your draft stays in your own browser so a refresh doesn't lose it. Nothing is published or shared. If you're applying under an NDA or with sensitive details, take them out first.

Let's get you in the room.

Paste your résumé. I'll take it from there.
